After using the Mothers Cleaner wax, I apply my polishing wax for an even better shine, as mentioned above. Granted, with a cleaning wax there are more steps involved than other processes, but I like the end result. The process of washing, drying, applying and removing cleaner wax, then applying and removing polish wax takes time and energy.
