I have a 2003 subaru outback and I was wondering if there is a RCA input on the factory radio. I would like to hookup an ipod to my subaru but I do not want to replace the head unit or use a fm modulator

I've been trying to find a practical way to install an Auxiliary input in the car. Just purchased an '08 Legacy wagon to replace my old Outback. The factory stereo in the car isn't the McIntosh variant but has an aux input button on the unit. The button doesn't do anything and the centre console just has a non functioning 12v cigarette lighter plug with a black plate where the aux input should go. Many 2007 and newer Foresters have an OEM 3.5mm (1/8" diameter) stereo aux jack.
